We provide technical consulting and coaching to teams working through the Six Sigma problem solving process.  This includes problems found in high speed and single piece manufacturing, repair and maintenance organizations, and service industries.  Our past experience includes leading teams as well as implementing the problem solving process in an organization.  Our wide background in quality assurance, quality and reliability engineering, and quality auditing provides our clients with a total cost effective solution to the problem from project scoping all the way through implementation and monitoring of irreversible corrective actions.   

Audits provide an opportunity to understand what is really happening in your manufacturing, maintenance and repair, or service processes.  A good audit process balances the cost and disruption of an audit with the knowledge gained by that audit.  sQc LLC knows how to design an audit process that will provide proper assurances that the products or services you offer will be at the level of quality and reliability to which you have committed.  We can also coach your teams through the audit process, including the levels of corrective actions which may be needed to address any issues and how to effectively use the lessons learned in one audit to provide a positive impact to your entire enterprise. 

Not every problem needs to use high powered statistical solutions provided by an outside consultant. Sometimes, the problem needs only basic problem solving tools that your team can provide – as long as they have received the proper training. sQc LLC has taught basic problem solving skills to hundreds of people in the past. The lessons are designed so that little or no mathematical skills are needed. Individuals are taught simple graphical and logic-based tools to understand the problem, drive to the root cause, evaluate the relative merits of various corrective actions, and monitor results after implementation. Standard courses are available using simple tools such as Process Flow Diagrams, Pareto Charts, 5 Why Analysis and FMEA to help you resolve problems and effectively communicate with your customers and stakeholders. We can also design custom courses to meet your specific need.

Some problems can be solved with simple graphical tools and logic – but not all. For those problems that need a detailed statistical analysis sQc LLC can provide assistance in both parametric and non-parametric problem solving methods. sQc LLC knows all of the tools that can help your team with the Six Sigma problems solving process. Your employees can have wonderful ideas, but if they don't have the skills to compose a presentation of stand up and deliver it to an audience, the ideas may not be seen.  sQc LLC can work with your team to sharpen their written skills, including slide presentations.  We will also work with their oral presentation skills so that they are comfortable providing a 30 second "elevator pitch" and a 30 minute presentation before an audience of thousands.
